Potable water provided for 190 families in Dur Baba district in Nangarhar

At a cost of AFNs 2,5 million , A solar-powered water supply network has been recently accomplished and handed over through  the National Rural Water Supply, Sanitation and Irrigation program  (Ru- WatSIP ) of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry (MRRD)  in “Dr Keftan” village in Dur Baba district of Nangarhar province
The project included digging of one deep well, construction of a 20-cubic meter water reservoir, extension of a 1,373-meter long water reservoir and installation of 27 solar panels, one water pump and 13 taps. During the implementation of the mentioned project as many as 2,180 lobar days were created and with its completion over 190 families have gotten access to clean drinking water (Potable water).
