MRRD held Book Exhibition to mark 100th Anniversary of country’s Independence

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the country's independence, The Rural Development Institute held an exhibition titled “One Book- one Employee" attended by H.E Mujib Rahaman Karimi the Minister of Rural Development and Development.
The exhibition showcases books which were collected as a result of the month campaign "One employee one book" and the library books of the Rural Development Institute. 
At the inauguration ceremony of this exhibition Mr. Shazar Zadran acting head of Institute said that, Rural Development Institute's library started its activity five years ago with 1200 books but now this library has 6000 books on average 6-7 employees receive books daily from there.
 H.E Muhjib Rahman Karimi Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, underlining the importance of books and reading, said that   launching exhibition is an effective and useful step, promised for any cooperation to build the electronic library. He also urged the institute officials to podcast the data and information of Institute through the ministry's website to make it easy for everyone to have access to all information.
It is worth mentioning that the exhibition was held in eight sections for one day in  the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.
