Construction of a water supply network worth six million Afghanis has been completed and handed over by the National Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Aq Balaq Saraisang Taloqan village the provincial center of Takhar province.

The network has a deep well, a high water storage, 40 solar panels, 4.769 km of piping and 230 water taps. It is worth mentioning that 3200 working days were created during the construction of the mentioned network and after its completion, 420 families have access to safe drinking water.
