Construction of an irrigation Karez project costing two million AFN begun in Zabul province

with the total cost of two million AFN, an irrigation Karez construction project has been recently started by the Regional Programs Coordination Office of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Nasiryan village the provincial center of Zabul province.

This project includes: digging of wells for karez and construction of 1100 meters canal .during the implementation of the mentioned project, 904 working days have been created and after its completion, a large part of the agricultural lands will be covered by regular irrigation and 210 villagers will be benefited.
