Commencement of comprehensive cooperation between the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development and the Aga Khan Foundation for housing
The leadership of the Disaster Response program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development met with representatives of the Aga Khan Foundation for Housing on Wednesday (September 23) to begin comprehensive cooperation of this foundation with the various programs of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.
Mr. Nasir Ahmad Popal, Head of the Disaster Response Program, expressed his gratitude for the humanitarian activities and cooperation of the Aghan Khan Foundation for Housing and he added that the cooperation of this foundation will be expanded with the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program, National Rural Access and Sustainable Energy Programs of MRRD in field of technology and other areas.
In return Mr. Shadman Hajibukov, Executive Director of the Aga Khan foundation for Housing, said that he expects that their joint work with the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development will be long-term in various fields.
It is worth mentioning that the Aga Khan Foundation provides shelter for returnees and those who live in remote villages. And cooperation of this foundation with the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in helping with victims of natural disasters and other areas, can be very effective.
