Citizen’s Charter Development Councils held a three-day consultative conference in the Loya Jirga
Three days Consultative Conference of National Citizen’s Charter Development Councils was held in presence of H.E Mujib Rahman Karimi the minister of MRRD, Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG), Ministry of Finance and Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program (CCNPP) sectorial stakeholder ministries as the Ministry of Education (MoE), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), and provincial sectorial directorates with around 1700 presentative of Development councils from 123 districts of 34 provinces .
H.E Mujib Rahman Karimi, Minister of Rural Development and Rehabilitation speaking on the opening of this ceremony said:
“It is a great pleasure for me to have you once again at this great gathering, the National Consultative Council of Citizen’s Charter National Priority program. One of the valuable and noteworthy aspects of this national conference is enabling me to meet you closely, and especially the honest representatives of the Development councils to exchange views for implementation of the development plans and projects and making better life for the villagers
H.E Mr. Karimi speaking on the CCNPP Achievements said: “so far more than 12 thousand CDCs elected and implementation of 8500 development projects are underway and 2000 projects have been completed , creating 14 million working days for hundreds of the villagers and in total 10 million people have benefited.”
On the third day of this conference, after group working the representatives of the Development Councils will present their views to the President of the country
