Activities progress of Women Economic Empowerment Rural Development Program of MRRD in Daikundi

The Women Economic Empowerment Rural Development Program (WEERDP) of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) has established 853 savings groups through 141 development councils located in the provincial center and Kati district of Daikundi province.

For the mentioned groups, of which 790 groups are women's groups and the remaining 63 groups are men's groups, 663 savings funds boxes have been also distributed.

The number of beneficiaries of WEERDP has reached to 11,588 in Daikundi and it will be increased until the end of activities process of this program in the mentioned province.
