Construction of a 960 - meter irrigation canal worth 1.5 million Afghanis completed in Uruzgan province

Construction of a 960- meter irrigation canal worth 1.5 million Afghanis has been recently completed and handed over by the Citizen’s Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Shawli Kariz village, the provincial center of Uruzgan province.
During the implementation of this project, 1655 working days were created and after its completion, 500 hectares of the agricultural land have been covered with regular irrigation.
