The acting minister of the ministry of rural rehabilitation and development visited Bamyan province
The Acting minister of the rural rehabilitation and development Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada, Head of procurement of said ministry Maulavi Fazal Rahman Asim and the head of monitoring and evaluation Maulavi Abdul Ghafar Akhundzada during a working trip to Bamyan province met with the governor of Bayan Maulavi Abdullah Sarhadi, head of rural rehabilitation and development Mullah ziaullah Khadim and scholars.
At the beginning of the visit, the governor of Bamyan province Maulavi Abdullah Sarhadi, welcomed the minister and the delegation.
He praised the ministry of rural rehabilitation and development for implementing fair projects in the underserved area of Bamyan, which had not received any attention in the last 20 years.
Then the head of the rural rehabilitation and development of Bamyan province informed the honorable minister about the department’s achievements.
He stated that in the past years, more than 210 small and large development projects in Bamyan province were completed, including the construction and repair of roads, water supply networks, agricultural water channels, culverts and retaining walls.
It includes that 110 projects have been handed over for use and other projects are still being implemented.
At the same time, acting minister of the ministry of rural rehabilitation and development Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada expressed his appreciated for the efforts of the governor of Bamyan province and the head of rural rehabilitation and development. He emphasized that after 40 years of war and destruction, it is now time for the prosperity and development of Afghanistan, so that the country can progress.
During his speech, acting minster of the rural rehabilitation and development explained that he committed to implementing more development projects in the deprived and remote areas of Bamyan and to solve the problems of people’s lack of water.
