Planning Commission, Government of India funded projects:Small Development Project (SDP) with a total funding of $3.65 Million:

The government of India had made a commitment in developing the infrastructure in Afghanistan, like construction of roads, hydel projects telecommunications network, schools, hospitals, deep wells, bridges and irrigation projects, with a total funding of $3.65 Million assistance, 749 projects has been completed by benefitting 1,059,030 people (151,290 households)and 29 projects are in pipeline with a funding of $10.45 Million.

Government of Afghanistan:

Policy Action Group, is initiated by his HE President, and started in 2007 with a funding of $9.4 Million in Southern Provinces:

His HE President, has initiated to address the Security, Reconstruction, Intel Fusion, Counter Narcotics, Strategic Communication and Governance in Southern Provinces of Afghanistan, which are Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzghan & Helmand and for which the funds are channeled through Ministry of Finance. The total funding was $9.4 Million, with various re-construction projects and addressing the needs. The total benefited population is $158,397. 

Developing the less Developed Areas throughout Afghanistan with the government own funding, channeled through Ministry of Finance:

The government of Afghanistan had a commitment to fulfill the immediate needs and demands of the rural population, which is ongoing. The funds for these projects are channeled through Ministry of Finance in developing the infrastructure in Afghanistan, like construction of roads, hydel projects telecommunication networks, mosques, schools, hospitals, deep wells, bridges and irrigation projects. In total $31.41Million funds disbursed, 803 projects has been completed by benefitting 7,973,006 people (1,139,001 households) and spent on various projects, as per the demands and needs of the rural population.
