Short Biography of Eng. Atiqullah Khawasi Admin and Finance Deputy of MRRD

Engineer Atiqullah Khawasi son of Abdul Ghayas was born in 1973 in Shinwari district of Parwan province in a religious and intellectual family.

He completed his primary educations in Nomania Ashter Shahr School in Ghorband district and in Al-taqwa high school peshawer pakistan and higher education in faculty of Engineering Nangarhar University in 2002.

Prior to his appointment as Admin and Finance Deputy in the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) he has performed the following designations:

• Director of Rural Water, Sanitation and Irrigation Program (RuWATSIP) of the MRRD
• Senior Design Engineer in National Area-Based Development Program (NABDP) of the MRRD
• Provincial In-charge for Swedish Committee in Afghanistan
• Field Engineer in DACAAR Organization

In addition to his formal academic qualifications, Mr. Khawasi has participated in numerous national and International conferences and workshops and has obtained Merit Certifications from Swedish Committee, DACAAR Organization, Pakistan, Bangladish and India in bridge designing, Civil Engineering Techniques, Gender, Hydrogeology, Management and Project Management sections.

Mr. Khawasi Admin and Finance Deputy of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) has got Merit Certifications from the Vice president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Legislative Commission of House of People for his effective and outstanding services to the country and countrymen.

Mr. Khawasi speaks Pashto, Dari and English.
