WFP contributed 490 tons of food items to Zabul province

Among 45 CDCs of Zabul province only 27 CDCs were provided with 490 tons of food items by World Food Program (WFP). Abdul Rahman, the CDC head of Kalat, the center of Zabul province indicated that 490 tons of food items are being distributed to workers under the direct supervision of local CDCs through WFP in exchange to work for rehabilitation projects.
He said: "These projects are comprised of wells excavation, roads reconstruction, and canals excavation for irrigation purposes. The projects will be completed and handed over to residents in the center, districts, and remote areas of Zabul province in the coming three months.">>Read more
