MRRD helps more than nine thousand needy families in Ghor province

As per the policy of Assistance Program to the Poor-based Provinces, the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Ghor province distributed 1103-metric tons food items to 9240 poor families in the districts of Dawlatyar, Shahrak, Saghar and Dolina.

It is to be noted that in the second phase of this process 1591-metric tons food items will be distributed to the 13213 needy families in Tiora, Charsadah, Tolak and Pasaband districts of the mentioned province.

The Assistance Program for Poor-based Provinces financed by the World Food Organization (WFO), covers the rural communities in close coordination with the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD).

According to another news; the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Ghor province distributed 55-metric tons food items of WFO to 7102 poor families in the districts of Chaghcharan, Dawlatyar, Shahrak, Saghar and Dolina. In the near future with the transferring of 79-metric tons food items, 10151 malnutrition children will provide with the pre-requisite helps.
