Road Asphalting Work Begins In Urozgan

The asphalting work of 14.5-km road was started in the Trenkot city of Urozgan province by the cutting of the ribbon by Minister Wais Ahmad Barmak, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.

At the inauguration ceremony of this  project which will be implemented through the National Rural Access Program (NRAP) of the MRRD at a cost of more than AFN 141million, some members of Parliament, Peace Council, Governor of the province, Australian Ambassador, members of the Provincial Council and a large number of people were  present.

H.E. Wais Ahmad Barmak at the inauguration ceremony of this project said that the work of the project will be completed within 15 months. He promised with the residents that the work of more development projects will be inaugurated in this province in the near future.
