Communication Directorate of the MRRD Conducts Meeting

On Tuesday 22 May 2012 the monthly communication meeting of the Directorate of the communication and public relations of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission (IARCSC) with the heads of forty Communication and Public Relation Administrations was held at the conference hall of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD).

Initially few verses from the holly Quran were recited, message of the Minister Wais Ahmad Barmak, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development was readout by Sayed Enayatullah Naveed, Public Relation Adviser of the Communication Directorate.

"Undoubtedly we all as owners of Media been properly informed from the role of Media, due to informing the people from the facts and other issues the media has its own place in the country. Fortunately with the establishment of the new system in the country the Media grew well and was seen that the press helped the people by informing them from the shortcomings and failures of the Afghan society and as well as informed them from the rebuilding’s and achievements. I while, welcome you all to the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) deliver my Support from your meetings.” MRRD Minister stated in the message.

Then, Azizullah Ariafar communication and public relations director of IARCSC, presented information regard the Communication and Public Relation network of the Afghanistan Government Agencies and its past meetings, assessed the holding of such gatherings effective in establishment of public relations between government departments, institutions and people. In order to improve and enrich public relation in the country he demanded the constructive suggestions and plans of representatives of the government entities.

Afterwards, Mohammad Daud Naemi Acting Director of Communication and Public Relation Directorate of the MRRD presented information regard the communication sections of the National Programmes and Communication Directorate of this Ministry.

In another part of the meeting Mohammad Taher Ayub, Human Resource Director of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has talked regard the implementation of administrative reforms in the MRRD and stated that the process have completely been implemented in the MRRD.

The participants of the meeting were also provided with presentation on tasks of public relations, communicating with people, publications, communications with Media, the research and opinion polls and regular electronic communication by Abdul Matin Amin Public Information Officer of the IARCSC Communication and Public Relation Directorate.

At the end of the conference participants had presented their point of views and questions, Naimi, Aria Far and Amin were given the necessary answers and were noted their suggestions and comments.
